Our Story: Two Decades of Excellence

Arrowhead Gastroenterology was founded in 2002 by Dr. Sukhdeep Padda on the Arrowhead campus with a simple mission: to provide the community with expert, compassionate digestive care.

As our reputation for excellence grew, so did our practice. In 2006, we welcomed Dr. Enrique Valdivia, followed by the opening of the Arrowhead Endoscopy Center in 2007 to offer patients a seamless, private procedural experience. In 2008, we moved to our clinic location on 51st Avenue near the highway, which has served as our foundation for over 15 years.

The following years were marked by significant expansion and leadership. We welcomed Dr. Vikram Singh in 2009, and in 2012, we became a founding division of Arizona Gastroenterology Associates (AGA). That same year, Dr. Anthony Merrill joined our team, further strengthening our clinical expertise.

In 2023, we entered our most exciting chapter yet. We welcomed Dr. Khushbir Bath to the practice and moved the Arrowhead Endoscopy Center into our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility off Bell Road. This custom-built center features an advanced endoscopy suite designed to provide the highest standard of care in a comfortable, cutting-edge environment.
